NAT HO GOES ON CHENG HO!!!

The NATurallyNat Fanclub had our first 2009 gathering with Nat yesterday! Here's a short excerpt of the outing...

CHAPTER I : THE SUSPENSE...

No one knew where they were going for today's outing. It was supposed to be a surprise. The NATurals were just told to meet at the entrance of Marriot Hotel AND REPEATEDLY WARNED NOT TO BE LATE cos if they miss the transportation, that's it! We're leaving without them. And the attire was beachwear. Think light and casual.

Everyone was early.... Some of the NATurals were itching with curiosity and were badgering the committee for clues as to where we were going... Then, it was time. We weaved our way past Marriot's lobby to a side entrance and out again onto the road where a bus was waiting....

10 minutes later... a ray of sunshine bounded up the bus! Nat was here! He was in a bright canary yellow tee and grinning from ear to ear. How many hearts skipped a beat at the surprise? hehe.. Soon the bus started and we were off! The NATurals settled down and started chatting amongst themselves. Nat was sweet, going around, plonking down in empty seats and seamlessly joining in the conversations.

We reached our destination at 3.00 pm --- the Marina South Pier! Docked at the jetty in plain view was a huge Chinese junk, an authentic replica of an Imperial Cheng Ho Vessel from China. The secret was out. Nat Ho was going on Cheng Ho! Grin

It was the start of our glorious day.... (to be continued)
